About

Niall is a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, where he gained a Master of Arts in Musical Direction and Coaching with Distinction. He gained a BMus from the University of Surrey in Music with first class honours where he specialised in Piano and Conducting prior to studying at The Royal Academy of Music. Whilst there, he conducted their production of Carousel, with direction by Bruce Guthrie and choreography by Ben Hartley.

In addition to musical directing and accompanying, Niall is an active instrumental teacher, repertoire coach, orchestrator, and music preparer. Niall has developed and assisted under some of the industry’s most prolific Musical Directors and orchestrators, including Alfonso Casado Trigo, Martin Lowe, Nigel Lilley, Dan Bowling, and Chris Walker. Niall has been Assistant Musical Director for projects directed by West End directors Matthew Ryan and Chrissie Cartwright. He was Music Associate and Keyboard Chair holder for Thursford Christmas Spectacular's 2023 season, and most recently did Music Preparation for Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Oliver!, co-produced my Cameron Mackintosh Ltd. Niall frequently accompanies auditions and rehearsals in central London.
